I am a freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer, born in Milan in 1975. After obtaining a diploma in graphic arts, I began my career in the world of prepress, eventually following my passion to become an Art Director in advertising. Since 2019, I have decided to embark on a more personal and fulfilling path as a freelance digital artist.
I have always been drawn to dreamlike imagery and the fusion of pop elements and advertising communication, which have left an indelible mark on my art. It’s as if every professional experience and challenge has led me to this moment of creative freedom.
Each day is a new adventure, a discovery, as I strive to transform my visions into works that can inspire and evoke emotions.
My works come to life on various mediums, whether it’s paper, a sketchbook, or a tablet. Following this initial phase, I use 3D software to create models and environments, paying attention to lighting and the materiality of surfaces. Once the image is rendered, I refine the final result using photo editing programs, adding details and perfecting the overall appearance of the artwork.
In my artistic journey, the influences of the great masters converge to shape my unique vision of art. From Kaws to Banksy, from Basquiat to Caravaggio, each of these artists has left an indelible mark on my work.
Through the bold forms of Kaws and the subtle rebellion of Banksy, I explore the power of art to challenge conventions and provoke deep reflections. The intense expressions of Basquiat and Egon Schiele compel me to explore the depths of the human soul with disarming sincerity.
Caravaggio’s dramatic light and Keith Haring’s visual activism inspire me to create works that are both powerful and accessible, conveying universal messages through shapes and colors.
Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama lead me in the search for provocation and innovation, while Hayden Kays and David LaChapelle invite me to explore the boundary between reality and imagination with a bold and incisive approach.
Guillermo Lorca, Takashi Murakami, and Nick Thomm transport me to fantastical and surreal worlds, while Andy Warhol and Andrea Pazienza urge me to explore the complex relationship between art and contemporary society.
Every artist I have encountered along my journey has contributed to shaping my artistic identity, enriching my work with a variety of influences and inspirations.
